The demand for charging infrastructure in Germany will continue to increase significantly in the coming years, and the grid integration of private charging infrastructure is a cross-industry challenge.
There is cross-industry consensus that there is mutual responsibility for preventive grid-serving control depending on the existing traffic light phase. A legal basis is needed that both increases reliability and plannability and provides the necessary scope for technological innovations. Other points of consensus include the timely completion of technical work on the smart meter gateway and the control box, improved provision of information, and simplification and acceleration of network expansion.
