Charging infrastructure for electric vehicles in Germany. Status report and recommendations for action

In its 2015 status report on charging infrastructure, the NPE provides information on the current stock of publicly accessible charging infrastructure in Germany and makes recommendations for further expansion. Successful projects at EU, federal and state level have created an initial basic supply. The NPE recommends that industry and politics now drive forward the expansion in line with the unit numbers of electric vehicles with joint investments and remove everyday hurdles to use.
