Autonomous driving as a building block of inter- and multimodal mobility

Autonomous driving offers great potential for multi- and intermodal mobility. The report contains recommendations on how this potential can be leveraged. These include further international standardization and harmonization, measures to strengthen road safety, and cooperation between industry, science and the public sector in the widespread implementation of autonomous driving at the municipal level. The recommendations were developed by the experts of Working Group 3 “Digitization for the Mobility Sector” of the National Platform Future of Mobility.
