Recommendations for action on type approval and certification for connected and automated mobility (German report)

The White Paper depicts the status quo of the processes for certification and type approval of vehicles in the context of a co-operative, connected and partially automated mobility system. It further defines recommendations for action and requirements. The main focus of the review lies in certification processes for automated modes of road transport as well as the requirements for a communication and transport infrastructure.
